Director of International Affairs Visits University In India
Professor Flavio Medeiros, UFLA Director of International Affairs, visited Kaveri University in India on June, 14, 2026. During the interaction, Professor Medeiros extended an invitation to Kaveri University to collaborate with UFLA in several key areas, including student mobility programmes, academic collaborations, joint research initiatives, outreach programmes, and faculty development programmes. He expressed his keen interest in establishing a long-term academic partnership between the two institutions to foster mutual growth and global engagement.
The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. V. Praveen Rao, warmly received Professor Medeiros. During his visit, he toured the University’s advanced laboratories, experimental fields, and the Integrated Research Centre, appreciating the academic and research infrastructure established at Kaveri University.
Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. V. Praveen Rao expressed his happiness over the proposed collaboration and stated that such international partnerships would provide valuable global exposure to students and faculty while strengthening research and innovation at Kaveri University.
According to the Hindudayashankar magazine, the visit was attended by Registrar Dr. B. Srinivasulu, Dean Dr. Pratap Kumar Reddy, Senior Professors Dr. Joseph and Dr. Surendra Babu, Dr. Puspalatha, Professor of Biotechnology, faculty members, and postgraduate students. An interactive session was held with the visiting professor, during which participants discussed opportunities for international education, collaborative research, and academic exchange.
